Perimenopause symptoms can begin years before your periods change, and your health needs keep evolving long after they stop. Wherever you are, there's something we can do.

Perimenopause
Sometimes called the zone of chaos. Symptoms can start while your cycles are still regular. Sleep, mood, anxiety, brain fog, energy and weight can all shift.

Thrive exists because too many women arrive having already been dismissed, rushed, or told to wait it out. We bring together clinical expertise, current evidence, and the time to genuinely listen.

Meet Dr Robyn O'Grady
Dr Robyn is a specialist women’s health GP, with a particular focus on
perimenopause and menopause, and the founder of Thrive women’s medicine.
Dr Robyn O'Grady is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of General
Practitioners (RACGP) who is passionate about helping women navigate the
hormonal transitions that occur throughout life, with a particular focus on
perimenopause and menopause care.
After graduating from Deakin University in 2014, Robyn spent several years
practising as a GP in Northern New South Wales before relocating to Noosa.
Prior to studying medicine, she completed an honours degree in Nutrition and
Dietetics and worked extensively as a clinical and sports dietitian, bringing a
holistic perspective to women's health and wellbeing.
As a member of the Australian Menopause Society (AMS), Robyn has
undertaken additional training in menopause management and is committed to
providing evidence-based, personalised care for women experiencing
symptoms associated with perimenopause and menopause. She understands
that every woman's experience is different and works closely with her patients
to develop treatment plans that support their health, confidence and quality of
life. She is also a member of the International menopause society (IMS),Endocrine society of Australia (ESA) and regularly attends conferences,
ensuring her practice remains informed by the latest research, evidence and
clinical advances in menopause care.
Her passion for menopause medicine came after watching too many women
struggle to find the right care. Throughout her time as a women’s health GP,
she has had countless women travel to see her, explaining they have felt
unheard, dismissed, or given a quick fix. Looking at a women’s health 10, 20, 30
years from now is important to Robyn. She firmly believes prevention is better
than cure and so many changes can be made during this crucial time to
optimise health. These conversations led Robyn to develop Thrive women’s
medicine.
Alongside menopause care, Robyn has extensive experience in women's health,
including contraception, pregnancy planning, unplanned pregnancy
management and antenatal care.
